Have you ever witnessed the fun and thrill of a barista competition? Sherri & Danny Johns of WholeCup Coffee Consulting, LLC, the original creators & coordinators of the US National Barista Championships, Regional Barista Competitions and Barista Jams in the USA, brings you the Ultimate Barista Challenge® USA. This is a showdown of Dueling Barista Challenges in Espresso Cocktail, Latte Art, Espresso Frappe and Best of Brew at three of the largest restaurant & hospitality shows in the USA!
We hope you'll join us at the Ultimate Barista Challenge taking place at this year's International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York. Like the Iron Chef these professional "Ultimate Barista" will await any Challenge from the Winners of the Qualifying Rounds who are lucky enough to make it to the Final Challenge! Watch them compete against the clock and their opponent!
This year, they will create their innovative beverages for a panel of discerning judges each day of the IRFSNY while qualifying baristi “challenge” these masters on the show floor.
The UBC appears throughout the USA, in China and Korea. The event also features live UBC Demonstrations using great UBC Sponsor products throughout the show!
This year Diedrich Manufacturing will award an Diedrich IR3 Roaster to the UBC Overall Points Champion on the last day of the show! A value of $14,000 going to the Best of the Best! Astoria / GEEC and Everpure Pentair Water will also give away valuable prizes to the Latte Art Champion and the Best of Brew Champion categories.
