INTERNATIONAL RESTAURANT & FOODSERVICE SHOW OF NEW YORK TO BRING QUALIFIED BUYERS AND EXHIBITORS TOGETHER FOR 25TH ANNUAL EVENT IN MARCH

NEW YORK, NY, December 11, 2017 – Over 20,000 restaurant and foodservice professionals will meet at the Javits Center in New York City on March 4-6, 2018 for the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York. This year’s show will bring qualified buyers to the show floor to experience all the newest innovations and products offered from 550+ exhibitors.   

Urban Expositions, the event organizers, are working closely with the vendors to ensure all restaurateurs and foodservice professionals invited to attend are involved in the purchasing decision for their organization – designed to ensure a successful event and continue to drive ROI for exhibitors.  

Based on exhibitor feedback, a number of significant changes have been made to the buyer registration program pricing and the customer invitation program to ensure we continue to attract industry buyers.  
•    Exhibitors will continue to receive a limited number of complimentary buyer passes to the show, determined by their total booth space.  
•    The customer invitation program, which offers exhibitors unlimited access to web banners, social graphics, email signature and evites provided at no charge to vendors, will continue to be available, offering show visitors a discounted registration rate of only $15 per person.  
•    And finally, in a move to reward loyal buyers, the registration pricing has decreased.  Previous rates, depending upon registration date, have ranged from $25 to $45 to $65 per person.  The 2018 rates will be $20, $40 and $50 per person.  

Show management will begin outreach to contracted 2018 exhibitors shortly to confirm complimentary buyer passes and open the customer invitation program portal.

The International Restaurant Show consistently attracts over 16,000 Independent Restaurant Owners, Full Serve and Quick Serve Establishment Operators; Caterers, Bakers, Chefs, and others from across all segments and concepts; plus, bars, nightclubs, hospitals, hotels and commercial foodservice operations.  Over 75% of the attendees are involved in their company’s purchasing decisions and nearly half plan to spend at least $100,000 on products and services at the show with 25% planning to spend more than $500,000.  This truly represents a quality set of buyers who attend.  

There will be a few new additions to this year’s food pavilions. In addition to the current Taste NY & Craft Beverage Showcase and Food Trends Experience Pavilion, there will also be a new Healthy Foods Pavilion, an expanded International Flavors Pavilion, and Pubware & Bar Equipment Pavilion based off of the latest industry trends.  All industry professionals from restaurants, catering and foodservice are invited to attend this year.
