Loycent Gordon is the CEO and owner of Historic Neir's Tavern, one of America's oldest taverns. Loycent has a remarkable story of saving and restoring Neir's Tavern when it was first threatened to close in 2009 despite no prior experience.

Faced with an expired lease and a triple rent hike, he rallied the community & stakeholders and once again saved the tavern in 2020 catapulting him into the national spotlight.

Historic Neir’s Tavern is now listed in the United States Congressional Record and one of the only taverns in America to have a street co-named in its honor, aptly named “Neir’s Tavern Way”. Loycent now champions for mom & pop restaurants and small businesses, using his platform to advocate for their resilience and success.
