Battle of the Modern Bartender Competition comes to life at the New York Restaurant Show. Our creative bartender contestants battle it out to see who has the best whiskey cocktail.

Bartenders compete live at the NEW Culinary Innovation Theater for a chance to win a trip of a lifetime. This year's competition is sponsored by Savage & Cooke Distillery with the bartenders using S&C California Rye Whiskey.

Chosen finalists will battle in this fun and exciting competition for the chance to win bragging rights, a commemorative glass plaque, and a FREE trip to the Savage & Cooke Distillery. This trip will include airfare, 2-night accommodation in Napa, a tour of the distillery, and a meet & greet with the master distiller.

This year's Rapid Fire Challenge theme is The Great New York Steak Off! We are thrilled to invite you to showcase your culinary skills at this exciting event that celebrates the art of steak preparation.

Just prior to the Rapid Fire Competition, join us for a live meat-cutting demonstration by Kari Underly, author of The Art of Beef Cutting, and the cuts from that demonstration will be provided to competing chefs.

The chefs will be using Denver Steaks for the Rapid Fire Competition and more information on that cut can be found here. The beef is provided by the Pennsylvania Beef Council, funded by Beef Farmers and Ranchers.

This event will bring together talented chefs from across the NY tri-state area to compete for the title of the best steak chef in NYC.

The winner will be crowned the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York Rapid Fire Champion, receive $1,000, bragging rights and gain exposure.
